GOLF RULES- We are governed by the
Rules of Golf.Try to resolve questions
within your group.If you cannot resolve
the question, play two balls, announce which ball you want to count if the Rules
permit, and hole out with both balls.Consult with the Rules Committee before signing your card.
WEATHER - If there is adverse weather, the President and Tournament Chairwoman will determine
whether to cancel
our play day.They will notify the Pro Shop and post on the website the

call the Pro Shop.If you are scheduled to play, and did not
previously cancel, you will be given
credit for the play day.

5.TheDeadline to Cancel your Tee Time is 6:00 PM on Monday
preceding the Thursday play day.Until
further notice, to cancel, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.If you must cancel after the deadline, you
will be assessed a $10 Late Fee which is due to the Tee Time Chair within 2
weeks of the play day.

eClubhouse web site.Tee Times will be
posted on Tuesday prior to the Thursday play day.However, if there are late cancellations, Tee
Times may be modified, so be sure to check again on Wednesday evening.

WITH THE STARTER - Always
arrive 20 minutes before your tee time to check-in. Never ask the starter to change your tee
time. If you are late and
able to catch your group before they putt out on the first hole, you may play
with them. However, you will be assessed
a two stroke penalty to be added to your score for the first hole.
Always exchange scorecards
with another player.It is preferred
that riders exchange with walkers.All
players should clearly announce their scores as they proceed to the next teeing
ground.You are responsible for your
correct score on each hole.Scorecards
must be signed, dated and attested or the players will be disqualified.
Players are required to hole out on
every hole except in the ringer and you have another score that can be used.However, a player having difficulty on any
hole may choose to remove herself from the competition by picking up and
placing an X for that hole and recording her Equitable Stroke Control.If you remove yourself from the competition
you are not eligible to earn prizes for the game of the day.
HANDICAPS- Your handicap must be maintained by
FLGC-18.A maximum course handicap of 40
will be used for scoring purposes during all club events.
PRIZES - Winners will be posted on the website.Prize money will be available on your Pro
Shop account.Members who do not yet
have a handicap established will not be eligible for prizes until the handicap
requirements are met.
TIES - Unless otherwise stated, all ties will
split the money.
POT- Players are on the
honor system to pay 10 cents for every putt over 2 on each hole.This money is used to subsidize the Fall Meeting.
Pace of Play- The allotted time for a group to complete
their round of golf is 4hr and 20 min.According to the Rules of Golf (10-2c) in stroke play there is no
penalty when playing out of turn.In
order to maintain a good pace of play, please utilize this rule to speed up
play.Any player may be assessed a
penalty for slow play, in accordance with Rules of Golf 6-7.Local Rules has the modified penalties for
HOLE-IN-ONE- Dues include $1 that is reserved for the
hole-in-one fund.The funds will be paid
out at the fall awards meeting to one or more members who have made a
hole-in-one on a regular play day only. If no one gets a hole-in-one the funds are carried over until someone
gets a hole-in-one.
ELIGIBILITY - Members must have played in the following
number of play days to be eligible for major tournaments (attendance at the
spring meeting/orientation and playing in other scheduled events will count
toward eligibility). A play day is considered a completed 18 hole round with a signed and submitted score card.

**MEMBERS WHO ARE INELIGIBLE BECAUSE OF EXTENTUATING
CIRCUMSTANCES MUST PETITION THE BOARD IN WRITING (AT LEAST TEN (10) DAYS BEFORE
THE SIGN-UP DEADLINE) FOR INCLUSION IN THE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP. THE BOARD WILL
CONSIDER EACH PETITION ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS.**
FLIGHTS - The handicap
revision most accessible prior to tournament preparation will be used. The
number of entrants will determine the number of flights.
TIES - Championship Tournament ties for 1st
place gross in each flight will be broken by a sudden death playoff.In the other 2 major tournaments, and the other
championship places, ties will be broken by following USGA recommendations of last 9
holes, last 6 holes, last 3 holes, last hole, until the tie is broken.
- All tournament scores will be entered by the
Committee and posted with a “T”.
1. Non- tournament players will be scheduled at the end of the field. 2. Participants
must play both days of the tournaments, except the Ringer, to qualifY for
prizes. 3. Participate
only if you intend to play both days of the event. 4. The
club champion may come from any flight.
